The quality of manual welding is unstable and the size of welding scar is inconsistent, which leads to the increase of subsequent grinding workload.
Some door panels and box products require no internal welding scar and welding slag after welding. Manual welding is also difficult to guarantee without a fixture. The welding slag or scar produced by the welding seam in the box body is more difficult to deal.
At present, the domestic sheet metal industry does not have a good welding mechanization and automation program. The characteristics of sheet metal production with many varieties and few batches limit the application of welding mechanization and automation.
